Does Enscape render without ai?

Does Enscape render without ai? I have problem with AI correcting company’s logo when generating images as they know it from data but we need to render products with new logo which is not public yet. Or if not Enscape, which tools/apps render objects created in SketchUp just render as is not being corrected by AI?

Enscape and V-Ray, among other rendering extensions, do not use AI. They are now adding AI ‘add on’ features…but what’s in your model is what will be rendered as it’s a proper rendering engine and not an LLM masquerading as a renderer.

Thanks eric-s. I signed up for a trial version of Enscape and test run render. It did render what was modelled! But now that Photo Match backdrop disappears. This seems to be a known issue since SketchUp 2024?

The photomatch background is not actually in the model per se. It’s like a watermark, it’s visible in the SketchUp veiwport but not associated with any geometry in the model. You’ll have to export the Enscape rendering with no background, like a transparent png…so you can composite the background together. V-Ray does have the ability to add a background image to the render…but not sure about enscape since I don’t use it very much.

Edit: to remove the background, I believe you can enable the ‘alpha channel’ in the output settings - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qo8YC32wSAs

Thanks again! I see. I will try V-Ray.

In SketchUp - align your model to match your background. My background here is a Watermark rather than match photo as accuracy isn’t important for this demo.

Render out your scene in V-Ray - with no background as mentioned previously.

In the Frame Buffer - add a new layer for ‘Image’ (this is a new process for the latest version of V-Ray. Used to be a lot simpler to add a background image).

Then move the Image to sit within/under the Backgrounds layer and path to the same image you used for your MatchPhoto. Adjust if needed and save it out!
