Hello all,
I have tried to download Sketchup Make 2017 from Downloading older versions | SketchUp Help but the link is completely broken and I cannot access it. Has anyone got an installer for this or can direct me to an installer?
Thanks,
Sam

Unfortunately, they decided to:

Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
I’m aware they gave up support on Make 2017, but I wanted to see if it was downloadable anywhere at all that isn’t on their website
Thanks,
Sam
Might be wise to exercise caution using the above link for SketchUp Make. Who knows what might come with it?
I personally had installed Make 2017 with this link, I can confirm it works fine.

Thanks, I didn’t know that. When did that happen?
I have no idea. It happened recently. I also discovered it when it has been asked.
Sorry, it wasn’t well broadcast.
Officially, Monday was the announcement on our Blog and the link may have died? On Tuesday the Help Center article went live. Today (an hour ago) it was removed from our Downloading Older Versions Help Center article… though the link was technically dead already.
Is that an internal blog? Or is it this one: https://blog.sketchup.com/
Do you intend to show this “dead” link?
Mea culpa… there was no blog post, I just presumed. There was no fanfaire with this change.
I can guess why. Whoever(s) made this decision, was wrong. (imho) ![]()
Shame on you Trimble, so sneaky!
It’s been surprising to me that it’s taken so long for this to happen.
slandering Trimble for being so generous providing a free product and services over decades… * wow *
