I have been experimenting with LC’s today and encountered a dimensioning issue…
when I add dimensions using the SU or LO dimension tools and apply them to the LC… then change the LC using the user parameters… the SU / LO dimensions to not update… they remain static and not associated with the LC.
Is this the expected behaviour?

I would guess that the dimensions in LayOut connect to the persistent IDs of objects in the SketchUp model, and when the Live component is changed, its geometry is generated anew and the connections are lost.
Seems so… maybe SU team can confirm
Would love to see a solution to this, planning to use LC’s as a wireframe for structural drawings which depend on syncing dim’s across SU-LO.
