Let’s say I have a layout file started with paper size 11x17. Is there a way that I could print a portion or a single page on 8.5x11 without starting a new doc? For example to show a single room or detail to a customer.

Can’t you just choose to print one page and scale down to 8.5x11 within your printer settings?
If you have Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional you can export your page to PDF and then use Acrobat to crop it.

Thanks Anssi,
That will work especially if scale is not a factor.

When sending PDF files to a printer, they will be to scale if you set Page Scaling to None in the Print dialog - the default is Scale to Fit.
