I have built a number of grouped components that have a custom Attribute setup that I need to change, but when I delete it or try edit it from the origanal component it doesnt change all the other components.
For eg,
Custom Attribute
Supplier: Bunnings
Then i want to change the supplier name to something else, but it only changes it on the component im editing not across all the other components that I copied from.
Is their a way to delete or edit custom Attributes across multiples of the same component?
Iām not familiar with dynamic components, but it seems when you edit attribute from one of them, it will break the instance. (and naming your modified component into componentname#1)
what you can do is once one component is modified, replace all the others by right clicking on its name from the component panel, then select instances. (you can also right click on one of them in model space > select > all instances)
Then right click on the modified version (still in the component panel) and pick replace selected.
This would only work if you components are in the same active group/component
