Is there a way to make letters follow a curve or arc in sketchup?
Something similar to this?
You could bend 3D text with something like TrueBend or Shape Bender although that would tend to distort the letters. You could also use single 3D text components that you distribut around the edge of an arc. I guess I would probably use Inkscape to make the text, export it as a .dxf file and import that into SketchUp.

+1 for Inkscape. it’s a valuable tool for things like tracing, converting vector formats, etc.
