When taking a cross section (Sketchup Go - web), the cut structure appears to be solid black. How do I change the black to cross hatching (or something like it)? I can change teh color in view/suction cuts, but that option only lets me change the color.
You can’t use textures or hatches in SketchUp Go for section fills. You could manually create a face at the section cut and place it slightly behind the section plane. Then give that face a hatch pattern material. You woulld turn Section Fill off in that case. In the desktop version there are extensions such as Section Cut Face that can create the faces automatically. Example:
