That looks like what I was experiencing.
As I suggested a while back.
When you use Create Group from Slice, you’ll notice the newly created Group remains selected.
By default, SU simply names it ‘Group’
Give the Group a meaningful name.
Example:
Section Planes have names.
If the Section is named Section 2, then one might name the group, Section Slice 2
With that, Outliner is your friend.
On Mac, I do recall having issues with selecting a newly created group-from-slice, but that could be due to my impatience…
Some extensions will do the naming for ya. I always thought it was native, but Skalp does a nice job naming it directly, to be identified in the outliner…
