Cotty's 3D printing adventures

Ill keep trying. I dont see much point with PLA as im like functional stuff. I use PLA tough but PETG seems like a decent choice.

I had good success with PLA Tough for functional stuff but decided to try again with PETG.

One important point is that the filament is suitably dry; when I have had problems with the material, it was almost always due to excessive moisture.

My employer kindly asked me (not realising I would be doing this privately at home) and I’m happy for any useful printing application and wouldn’t have done it if they wanted to pay me for it. I’m happy to help and don’t need to receive anything in return.

That’s a very humble view on things. Extra coinage is always nice when you can pump into supplies like filament etc :innocent:

It’s one of my many hobbies, what would a hobby be without costs? What costs nothing is nothing

The covers for preparing food in the microwave at work were always in the way in the kitchen unit. Now they have their own shelf and are out of the way.

The HDMI cable in the meeting room was always untidy and partly in front of the screen. Now it has an inconspicuous and unobtrusive place.

Are your bees going to make honey-filled Easter bunnies; honey bunnies?

Unfortunately it is only the infill, only I will know later how beautiful the bunnies are on the inside

The wedge for locking the door was usually lying around somewhere and in the way, now you no longer need to search for it.

Small detail. You should rotate the wood texture. The grain direction is wrong…

The model of my geodome has now also been planted (with cress) and is whetting my appetite for the large version.

To make it easy to mark the centre point on the point foundations, I have printed a small guide…

cotty that’s… the north arrow at the top of your plan. it’s not an actual thing you’re supposed to build. it’s more of a drawing convention.

please tell me you don’t have revision clouds in your plan…

At high speed, the ceiling fan in the Dome greenhouse caused the film to rattle. Now it has more clearance and even the highest speed is no longer a problem.

I sort of like the “baobab”-type supports. Or are they “broccoli” or “cauliflower”?
