Got it, proper sequencing assures tight bounding box, and therefore a more accurate cut list report.
Will practice for next project. In the present case since I did not use proper sequence when component was created, can I recover by changing the axis? Or just start over?
Thatās one way. Sometimes it makes more sense to model the component at its final angle and then change the componentās axes to suit the component.
You can change the axes on the component but itās such a simple component, I would just start over. I copied the outside face of your component out so I didnāt have to redraw it. Then I rotate it to vertical, extruded it and made the component.
