Controlling visibility of layers via Folder Groupings

Is there a way to nest layers within folders?

I would like sometimes to view several layers at one time but with more flexibility than you might get by using SCENES. I would like more than a static view. I would like to also be able to pan and rotate those specific layers without having to go hide other layers on a layer by layer basis.

Any way to do this?

You want an extension like Layers Panel or Layers Organizer which allow to display layers grouped and nested into a hierarchy.
