I am a retired Pipefitter and I do a little woodworking as a hobby. I am building a 3 axix CNC router from a book I found. I need to learn about CAD/CAM to program my router when it is complete. I don’t the first thing about it. I downloaded Sketchup and don’t know how to start. I want to start off by routing simple wooden signs. Can anyone show me what I need to do to get startede.
