Changing scenes quickly without the camera animation

I apologize if this is a repeat question but I could not find any other posts about it when I searched. Is there a way to turn off the animation when you switch from one scene to the next? I want to be able to click on the scene tab and snap directly to that view without waiting for the model to spin around to the preset camera angle. -Thanks

Go to View>Animation>Settings. Untick the box for Enable scene transitions.
