Hello all,
I havent done any programming in Sketchup so perhaps I am asking a stupid question, but here it is:
I simulate the energy use of buildings and I often use SketchUp models for this. When I have the results I would like to be able to show to my client how well a certain wall or window is insulating. Is it possible to somehow dynamically change the colors of my surfaces (just 1 layer-surfaces define the entity, no volume in my walls etc) based on the results I have in Excel? I assume ill have to manually select which wall from the data list correspond with which surface in SketchUp. But manually changing all the walls is going to take a lot of work, especially considering I want to make alternatives.
Please let me know if something like this is possible!
