Dave. Quick update. Thank you for putting me on the correct path! My initial search results on YouTube (before coming to the forums) were filled with too many “Whaaaatzup guys…welcome back to the channel. Let’s talk about random stuff for a while before I address anything to do with the title of the video” type videos. Your teaching style really connects with my learning style, i.e. “here’s how you do it…let’s get to work” approach-- along with the airline pilot vibe narration. Your pace is fast, but it is easy enough for me to pause the videos as I work along. It’s refreshing to find no-nonsense instructional videos for a change. This is my long-winded and humble thank you.
Thank you very much for that. I try to keep on topic in my videos and although they might go a little fast in some spots I figure rewinding and replaying is always an option. I also hope that viewers will pick up on techniques and other little things I don’t specifically talk about since they aren’t the topic of the video. I need to get back to doing more videos for the blog. It’s been too long.
I have been picking up on a lot of little techniques in your videos as you mentioned. I apparently need some practice more on my right to left selections. Things with nuances like that will come with more practice I reckon. I think the community would very much appreciate more videos from you! Most of my time is spent between you and the VMS Up channel on YouTube. Your channel really helps me understand the joinery using native tools to do joinery before taking the VMS Up route. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge to the masses.
