It starts to download then I get this message box.
"Component Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (x86 and x64) has failed to install with the following error message:
“A failure occurred attempting to install the .NET Framework 4 Full.”

I have Windows7.
What do I need to do?
Where are you trying do download the .NET Framework from? Are you using Windows 7 or Windows 8?
Also, are you only having problems downloading the .NET Framework, or is that preventing you from getting Sketchup 2015?
It downloaded to my computer. When I hit the Run/Execute button, it’s in the process of downloading and it stops and I get that error message box.
Are you doing this as an administrator ?
What version of .NET Framework do you have installed now ?
I have a set up similar to yours and I have v4.5.1
It’s installer is named “dotNetFx45_Full_setup.exe”

Let’s try to download and install .NET Framework 4,5 directly from Microsoft, and see if the installer will then recognize that you already have those components.
Make sure you uncheck anything you don’t want on the “Microsoft recommends” page, and hit the “No thanks and continue” button. (Microsoft has a bad habit of trying to ‘volunteer’ you to download other things by default)
