Sorry, Colin, I missed the word “soon” on first reading. That’s why I deleted the post quickly (but not quick enough apparently!).
Just wanted to chime in that I’m having the exact same issue. I’ve been using Sketchup for 19 years. Never had this issue in any other release except for 2021 (regretting that upgrade decision). It’s so strange that the issue comes and goes even within the same work session. Completely throws off my flow. I’ll try the “entering the distance twice” thing and see if that helps. Glad I’m not alone.
You will notice that my test file is a 2017 file. I made that to show that the same problem happened at least since 2017, and probably was there even earlier.
