I like the older version. How do I save a 2026 to an older version?
The ability to do so via the GUI was removed a few versions ago and is not necessary for anything since 2021 because newer versions all use the same format. However, the facility remains in the Ruby API and there are extensions that can do it (at least until/unless it is removed there too). I believe @dezmo shared one, though I couldn’t find it in the EW just now. Edit: look on SketchUcation plug-in store.
Sometimes I wish they would leave things alone. I liked the format of the older version. Taking out the ability to “save as” older version simply forced the newer version down the throat of the users.

The SketchUp file format changed in 2021. Making it possible to save as the older versions required resources to make sure that it works for all versions which is time consuming and costs money.
BTW, your forum profile says you are still using 2017 Make. Please update that information.
FredoBatch also allows to convert files to older versions, individually or in bulk.
Just go to the Task Manager, create a new Task Params, select the builtin task.
Then set the target version.
Once done, you can create a Job to apply this task to a set of files, either designated individually or implictly via directories and filters on names.
Finally you just launch the job.
