Can I open a .skp file with the online (free) version of SketchUp?

Hello,
I am a newbie, trying to get used to all the tools, functions, etc.
I found a file online that looks like a good starting place, but don’t know how to or if I can in fact open this file (that I downloaded) with the online (free) version of SketchUp. Is it possible to do this?

Yes. You could open it. Download the file to your computer. Then Open SketchUp Free and click on the pancake menu in the upper left corner. Choose Open and select from your computer.
