Without the model it is very hard to answer. Share it here - drag it into the reply window or use DropBox or WeTransfer or similar.
Is it top view? If so, and you are using dome light, that might be the cause, because default hdr in the dome light has no ground and renders black…

you where right! For some reason the dome light was causing tha black plane on the ground. I just remove it and it works.
