Apply Material to Faces to Match Material in Group and Components

I need to get the materials applied to groups and components and apply them directly to the faces inside those groups and components.

Does anyone know of an extension that could help me automate or facilitate this process?

There are several, Thomthom’s Material tools springs to mind for many material actions but I often fall back to Matt666 Remove Group/Component Materials from Sketchucation for that.
