AI Render - "There was an issue processing your request"

Is anyone else having an issue with the new AI Render where you get this error whenever you add a text prompt over a certain length?

It runs fine (in the sense that it makes a render) when I have no prompt or when I have a prompt that’s just a couple words, but if I use a lengthier prompt (it works with 50 words, fails with 100 words), I get this error.

I only tested it with the Auto and Exterior presets but I assume this is consistent across the other presets as well.

Is there a prompt length limit that I’m not aware of?

We apologize for the confusion. There is currently a hidden limit of 500 characters, and the message on Desktop is misleading. We will address this in a future update.

Get an AI to write the prompt for you and specify the entire prompt should be less than 500 chars.

How Was This AI Render Made from My SketchUp Model

Here’s something I learned and has proven very useful… get the AI to generate the prompt you want to use in the AI. It’s sounds odd but an AI prompt can be convoluted to get the best results so asking ChatGPT, Claude etc the following can get you better results in the likes of Gemini: Generate a prompt for Gemini to enhance an an image that will be attached, make sure it follows the following rules: Keep the original image size and resolution Do this to the roofs Do this to the walls Etc Etc …

That’s what I’ve been doing, but not knowing the character limit was the issue. Now that I know, I’m including that in my prompt requests.

Lol - I never try to write my own prompts - AI is way better at it - thanks!
