Recently, I’ve been experimenting with Chatgpt for my Sketchup Pro home designs. I’ve used it both for exterior and interior renderings and, so far, I’m pleased with the results. The only hangup is the time it takes to get the text prompts to a point where the AI follows my instructions to the letter. It’s been a lot of trial and error, but I find the results to be worth the time (and money). I’m a Plus subscriber to Chatgpt because of the number of chats I’ve been doing far exceeds the limit placed on free users, Here are a couple of examples of an exterior and interior render.
How much does it cost you per year?
What resolution are you capable of generating?
How long does it take to get it to ‘follow the prompt ‘to the letter’?
Can you repeat with the same project if you change a few parts of the project and expect the same results on things that haven’t changed?
The Plus subscription only costs $20/month. As far as the resolution, I believe it can be 4K or 8K. I’ve not really messed much with the resolution. I just tell it to give a photo-realistic rendering suitable for client presentation. As for how long it takes, that can vary from a few minutes if I’m real lucky to 2 hours or more. If it renders okay, but not 100% correct, you can save the render and upload it to a new chat. In the new chat, tell AI to maintain all the elements in the referenced render, but with the following changes. Usually (not always) that works.
I’m more curious whether, if you make a small change in your drawing, the rest of the items are still rendered the same as in the first rendering, and not treated as a completely new design or different shade of colors.
Hi,
Is it possible to render several screenshots in one batch on ChatGPT to ensure the homogeneity in all of them? I would really appreciate it if you could give me your opinion/experience on this matter.
