I want to add a company logo to the facade of the building. I want to use a jpeg of the logo and then be able to extrude it. Any ideas?
It would be easier to give you a good answer if we could see the logo.
You can’t extrude a JPG because there’ll be no edges separating faces. If you have the logo as a PNG with a transparent background, you could use TIG’s Image Trimmer (from the Sketchucation PluginStore) to convert the image so it can be extruded. Otherwise you can manually trace the logo from the imported JPG.
Another option is to create a BMP from the JPG and use Jimhami42’s Spirix BMP Tracer.
