Hi there!
Recently, I add a new extension called 3DBI for sketchup to my program.
However, when I try to start using this new extension, by activate the trial version, this message appears :
How have you installed 3DBI for SketchUp? Through the extension warehouse, or through another way?
I cannot directly see other extension toolbars, do you have other extensions installed?
the “No token available” can happen when you do (or did) not have an internet connection at the moment of pressing the “activate” button.
could you navigate to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2020\SketchUp\Plugins\KGdev_BI3D and take a screenshot of the contents of that folder?
I download the extension throught the 3D warehouse web, but I resolve the problem .
This problem occurs because of the Internet connection (image bellow):
I found this thread trying to find a solution to the same issue. I originally started with the trial version and then after it expired, I purchased the Solo plan. I got the email confirmation and can log into my account, see that i’m assigned the license, but when i click on the 3dbi import icon, i get the “Trial Expired” error. I don’t believe I ever received an access key.
I also tried uninstalling an reinstalling. Both from the extension warehouse and microsoft.
You mentioned “solo plan”, so I assume you have purchased a license from Microsoft AppSource. (3DBI)
The 3DBI visual loads in .3dbi files without requiring a separate license from AppSource. A license acquired from AppSource is only needed when you are required to load in other 3D file formats, such as Collada (.dae) (also see image below).
This means that you have to acquire an appropriate license for one of the creational tools, and not acquire a license from AppSource. A license from AppSource is only needed in order to load in other file formats than .3dbi files.
Now, since we are on a SketchUp forum, I assume you a re looking for a 3DBI for SketchUp license, of which purchase links can be found on the following page: 3DBI for SketchUp | KG-dev | INFORMAXYZ
Yes, Paddle has not so much to do with licenses purchased from AppSource. AppSource licenses are purely for adding extra functionality to the stand alone 3DBI visual for Power BI, such as loading in non .3dbi file formats.
For the Creational tools, as they are listed in my previous post, Paddle is our reseller and the Merchant of Records.
