3D Basecamp 2025? Trimble Dimensions dates and location?

When will the next 3D Basecamp or Bootcamp occur?
2025?
Will it be during Trimble Dimensions again next year?
Las Vegas/Venetian/Mid November?
Please advise!

2026

basecamp is every two years

yeah, they gave the date during the event, something like 10-12 nov, same place same time

@ateliernab Thank you! I had to miss the first Keynote. Maybe it was mentioned then.

well I remember reading it on the last evening in Tao on the screen above the concert :upside_down_face:

Ugh as part of Dimensions again? I wasn’t a big fan.

Well until we get an official word, can’t say… but it would seems so.

I didn’t mind the other trimble users. vegas was a bit overwhelming though. and dry

I’m happy they put Sketchup on the 2nd floor, it was just difficult to connect with other SU users when at “Trimble” events. I know they tried to give us all green lanyards and different badges but they didn’t.

Agreed - at least the lanyards were green, but it took them about 2 days to get all that figured out - the first day I got there they told me green lanyards were for speakers at the registration desk :man_facepalming:

That concert was SO loud - or maybe I’m just showing my age

Yeah, at first they gave me a blue lanyard and a badge that said Dimensions. I went back and they redid it with green and labelled 3DBasecamp.

Even with green when leaving the Knowledge Hub and not at sessions but at the Expo I had some interesting chats with blue Trimble people. Dimensions/SketchUp combo imo rocks.

I got a green lanyard, but my badge didn’t say Speaker because I got in the first line I found and didn’t see the speaker registration desk until after.

So dry!!! Last year I thought it was my doing, but this year I think it’s just the air. And/or the water.

I didn’t attend any of the evening events, either, so… hence my lack of knowledge. LOL

Maybe a little. I was more like, “this is a ■■■■ ton of people…how are they going to get everyone fed?”

I also attended Autodesk University last year, which was the week after Trimble Dimensions at the Venetian also… there were, like, twice as many people. It was INSANE. And they DID run out of food during some meals!

At the end of a VERY long line

I have a difficult time wrapping my brain around an event with that many people, and that’s not even one of the biggest ones. I heard the Salesforce conference is like…40,000 people!

I once was leaving a small conference in San Jose, flying out of SFO, and joined the security line at the airport. It took over 80 minutes to get through security, and I had to run to get my plane.

The hold up was because a Salesforce conference had just ended, and they all were heading home as well. It was in 2019, and the Salesforce conference had over 171,000 attendees:

That number is just so massive…I can’t even comprehend the logistics required to pull something like that off
