2D geometry has shifting color

In your steps (2) and (3) you mention “cut it to clipboard” and “edit/paste”. As far as I am aware, these are not options in SketchUp for Web. Are there SketchUp for Web equivalents?

These are all available in the Web versions. Cut, Copy, Paste and Paste in place. Right-click on an object and you’ll see this menu:

My model is of a floor plan for a house. I have created various household items such as beds and sinks. These are rectangles of various colors, and I have made them components. I have created a larger differently colored rectangle representing the perimeter of the entire house.
