2026 Add Location - Error 503

Recently installed 2026 (my profile says 2025 but sketchup is making me crazy right now and I can’t find where to update it) and am unable to use add location. each time i get an Error 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable. I’ve tried it with the VPN on and off. I’ve deleted it from the plug in folder like i saw in an older post. I’ve uninstalled it through the extension manager and closed the program. when i opened it back up it was in the manager again. I just reinstalled the extension through the warehouse and got the same error message. I had a colleague, who works in a different location, who also just put 2026 onto his computer try and he got the same results. After each of those attempts i would close and reopen sketchup 26 and try to add a location with and get the same error message. Yes, both my colleague and i have solid internet connections.

Maybe the service is down, but I haven’t seen that anywhere so not sure. any thoughts on what’s happening and how to fix?

We do have a current outage on add location, posted as Trimble status page

We are currently deploying a workaround to switch away from the affected infrastucture.

Thanks. Would be really great if that error message somehow contained that. I think with all the different programs we’re all running and the amount of error messages we get we tend to think it’s a local problem until told (very loudly and clearly somehow ) that it’s a global issue.
