Yes, this is a known issue with 2017 on the Mac. Based on our investigation it actually appears to be an OpenGL driver or GPU bug but we are working to address it with a workaround in SketchUp and LayOut.
For those of you who are seeing this problem could you post your system configuration information to this thread? Please open System Information with Apple Menu > About this Mac > System Report. Then in the System Information tool get screen shots of the Hardware Overview, Graphics/Displays, and Software subsections.
