Has anyone tried VRay Vision, the realtime rendering engine for Sketchup?
I’m currently using Twinmotion, but finding it annoying for many reasons…
I do set design for TV shows, and I’ve got a reasonably simple interior model with about 10 different-sized rooms in a 140’x140’ soundstage. The model is about 180MB. No sharing.
It’s fine but imo, twinmotion is better for real time rendering, enscape however is my favorite tool for virtual tours, it works direct from sketchup and since it runs on apple devices now it’s one of my favorite sketchup plug-ins.
V-Ray is part of the regular V-ray and I’ve yet to find a use for it.
You won’t be able to make anything as nice as what Twinmotion can manage in Vision alone.
It’s meant as little visualiser for V-ray itself, but I suspect development is now stopped as I think It was something they made before they merged with enscape and created the lavina engine (used in Vantage/Envision).
