How far is your model from the origin? How large is the space covered by the overall model?
My model starts from the origin. It is a 45x70 foot space
I deleted all cameras and that seemed to work
I find that sometimes when I am regularly toggling back and forth from parallel projection to perspective view (I have F2 as a toggle key which is nice and quick), I can quickly meet the clipping issue.
I can normally resolve it by going to perspective view, zooming out (to extents) of the model and a bit more to be safe, then flick back to parallel projection mode again and it normal behaves well. Hope that helps.
This helped me. I had it on parallel view and model view would get clipped. The view is fixed when I put camera in perspective. THANK YOU. I was thinking it was something worse.
A common consternation for new users. One can only hope that this is covered in the new Trimble “Basics” videos, as every newbie needs to find this out one way or another.
What I didn’t realize for years however is how to use clipping (with control) or special views.
A fixed it, opening a new model, and copying there the model with the problem.
