Trimble / SketchUp login page - put username and password fields on the same page

Hilariously I just searched for this to make sure it’s not been asked before, and it was me who’s asked it before, two years ago!

Doesn’t it annoy anyone else? It’s such a simple thing to fix and such a massive annoyance to have to go through two pages. It seems absolutely archaic and convoluted to do it this way.

I’d be very grateful if it could go on one page (or just increase the persistency of logins, so I only have to do it once every six months and not every week)

There is probably a technical reason. I would guess it makes it more difficult for bots. This is a trend I see when logging in to many different online services.

My guess is that it is for security reasons too!
And as @Anssi, I’m seeing this on a lot of other services where you have to log in too..

Seriously? :joy::joy:

When you work across different machines it automatically seems to log me out, so like I said, it’s not just an occasional thing

I’ve setup passkeys on my machines, that makes it very easy to sign in and out, Trimble supports this and it’s more secure than passwords are.

Given I probably do this 15 times a day- I know it works well for me

You can set windows to use biometrics (face, fingerprint) if you don’t want to use a PIN or if you have a compatible machine
