The visibility toggle icon in SketchUp2027 is less clear than it was before for Tags and Outliner. The visibility off setting does not read very well at all. Why has this been changed?
The boss’s son was given the task of updating the icons. No one dared to tell him that it wouldn’t turn out well… ![]()
How do I refer this to the SketchUp UI team?
SketchUp staff also read the forum, so there’s a chance they’ll see it. In any case, Others and I’ve already brought it to their attention. They acknowledged it, but didn’t say whether they would [fix/restore] it.
That’s good to hear. Notwithstanding poor legibility and screen resolution, an ‘eyelash’ is just out of place in a professional software. Even the eye shape itself is unnecessary (but I can accept that). A circle either filled or not, i.e. on or off, is sufficient. How did such a change pass scrutiny?
