Sketchup 2025 - Default tray missing

I can not locate the “Default Tray”. I checked the “window” pull down menu and there is no option to show it. I just bought the pro version today after using the web app for a year. I uninstalled SU and reloaded it - no joy… Not off to a good start.

I am using a Mac M4 mini and running OS Tahoe 26 (That just came out yesterday).

There is no “Default Tray” in SketchUp on Mac. There never has been a “Default Tray” on Mac. Currently that’s only a Windows thing.

You can open the separate inspector windows via the Window menu and dock them together if you want.

Nice to know. What is the best way to get to all the info that was in the “Tray”?

Again, there never was a tray in SketchUp on Mac. As I wrote, you can open the inspector panels via the Window menu and drag them so they dock together on the screen. Place that over to one side and it’ll approximate the tray in SketchUp on Windows.

Thanks Dave. I was just use to using them in the web based SU.

Here’s a visual for reference as to what Dave described. Note that Materials and Fonts can’t be docked as they’re driven by the Mac OS - which overrides how they function in SketchUp.

Thanks Eric-s.
