I’m having serious troubles since upgrade to Catalina. My imported PDF into Sketchup PRO 2019 are all black background, I really can’t work with them. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the results are the same. Anyone knows something about this problem? Thanks GV [24%20AM]

We have something new for you to try. Get into the state where you can easily see the issue, preferably with an external monitor connected. Doesn’t matter which screen SketchUp is on. Repeat the test with your MacBook Pro lid closed.

On a related note, we are wondering if everyone who is seeing this is running w/ their laptop lid open?

Could you please elaborate? Or are there other other forum threads where you have referenced other issues?

I don’t have a spare screen… happens on the iMac without the lid closed. :wink: FWIW, I use PDF2CAD once or twice a week. Catalina broke their software too, and they are still trying to release a fix.

We are starting to think this has to do with having the laptop lid open. I see it if my laptop lid is open, even if SU is displaying on the external monitors. And I do NOT see if I am displaying through external monitors w/ my laptop lid closed.
