Sketch up asks to make sure that it is writable

Hi,
I downloaded SketchUp Make.
From time to time a pop up appears on my computer. It says: Unable to update the evaluation time. Make sure that C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2014\SketchUp14.lf is writable. What can I do to fix this problem?

Hi, I have exactly the same issue, I’m getting this pop-up every two clicks or so

Try to start SketchUp with administrator rights.

How is that done? I sole user of my computer.

Right click on the program icon and “run as administrator”.

What can be done if a user has no (and should not have) administrator privileges? The file-permissions are correct and the file could be modified with a regular user without being admin - so this sounds like a bug in SketchUp to me…
