I’m pleased to say that the September Developer meetup is booked to take place on the first Wednesday in September 2024-09-04T14:00:00Z.

This month we will be bringing you updates on the topics of QT, High DPI Monitor Support, DevCamp news and some time for open discussion.

Join our Developer MeetUp mailing list at the link provided below. We will send out a link to the MeetUp an hour before the meeting starts, only to the people that have joined the mailing list. We will be letting people into the meeting 10 minutes before our planned start time. If you have RSVP’d to a previous MeetUp, you do not need to sign up again.

Some of us cannot make it. We’ve asked for written synopsis on these meetups ever since they began. IMO, it is not fair to only divulge dev news to those who can join the online meetup.

Hi Dan,
I’m sorry to hear that you cannot make it to this meeting. Is this a regular problem for you?
We have been investigating ways that we can share recordings or notes with developers that cannot attend. Obviously we need to consider who will have access to these rather than making them completely open to the public.

Hopefully we could have a solution in place soon. In the meantime, if you contact me following a meeting I may be able to supply you a link to the recording if one is taken.

Yes. I prefer to watch a recording on my own time (at my leisure.)

I’m not generally found of having to install video collaboration apps. Zoom, Skype, etc.

For what it’s worth, we use Google Meet, and it runs in a web browser.
