transfering user metrics as e.g. system and usage data to Trimble (EULA; Point 3.) should be a configurable option even if enabled by default. Providing the user with an option to disable metering during installation would be a trust creating measure too.
License data and information concerning the asociated hardware needs to be excluded of course.
