Has anyone tried or committed to the 2D drafting package… just curious on your thoughts ?
ps, shadows are just 2d manual fills…
it is free for reduced functional use… and $17 euro/month for single license web or mac/pc desktop… has a pretty UI!

Have not had time to try this yet…
I’ve started playing with this app a couple of weeks ago. I really like it! It’s 2d, but incredibly intuitive and easy to use.
Native walls with openings that cut thru, good library of assets, and some quantifying capability. Very nice drawing output without much effort. And, even though it looks simple, there is a bit of depth to master once you get the basics
And with the rayon plugin, you can start a plan in rayon, and then move into SketchUp. And the other way around, though I have not gotten that far.
It’s not a layout replacement, but for simpler projects, it could…. Big issue is not having an interactive way of updating views from SketchUp. If that happened, then, many frustrated lo users would probably use it without doubt.
You should at least give it a go. The free tier is capable enough to try out.
