You started a 7 day trial today, you can download SketchUp and install it, and when you open SketchUp you can sign in, and should be able to use it right away.

If you go on to pay for a Pro subscription, that should activate immediately. You would not need to install SketchUp again, but you would sign out, and sign in again, and then SketchUp should see that you have a Pro subscription.
