Hi when I use the protractor tool, it no longer displays the angle between the two lines that I am measuring. All I get is the options for ALt, CTRL etc. Any ideas?
Make sure you are using the protractor and not the rotate tool.

Where do you get [alt] as an option with the ‘Protractor’ tool? Show us a screneshot of your status bar that says so.

The angle from the Protractor tool will be displayed in the Measurements window.
Right click on the bar at the bottom and tick Measurements Value.
Thanks Dave I will give it a go. Sketchup keeps crashing at the moment on loading.
Try updating the graphics driver direct from nVidia. Then do a cold reboot of your computer.
Thanks Dave It stopped working for an hour with crashes on start-up and then it was fine again. One of those glitches that always happens when you are busy !
Quite possible it’s one of those extensions causing that. Perhaps try disabling any you don’t need today.
Thank you. It came back without any changes so I have no idea what was going on. I know my screen is messy but I find it easier to find the extension I need that way.
