I want to throw a pdf file to sketch up. How can I do this or do I have a plugin for it?
You can’t “throw” anything to SketchUp. You could import a PDF into SketchUp on Mac. Since you seem to have Windows, though, you can make a snapshot of the PDF, save that as an image (PNG or JPG) and import that into SketchUp.
If the PDF has vector line work, you could use any of a number of applications to generate a DXF file that could then be imported into SketchUp.
Can you point to one or a few of these that are free for PC users? – Thanks in advance!
Inkscape is the first one that comes to mind.
