You can do that if it helps. Consider that the lowest level components will be the individual parts. Then sub-assemblies can be the next component level up. So your face frame component could be gathered together into a parent component or group. The case part components could be gathered into another sub-assembly component or group. The same with drawer and door parts. My preference would be to make sub-assembly components, not groups, but that’ll probably get some people pretty worked up.
Do be careful with the nesting to make sure it is sensible. The more levels of nesting you create the farther you have to drill down to get into the geometry to make adjustments or apply materials. Do the nesting to improve your workflow, not make it harder.
