Modelling this kind of "geometric/origami" structure?

Hi! I’m basically a newbie experimenting with Sketchup. This is gonna sound like a noob question. Anyway, I’m having trouble modelling this type of “origami” like structure. Can someone guide me on how to draw and model this kind of structure, like from the basics. I’m wondering if there is a type of plugin for this? Preferably if it randomises the sizes of “triangles” and the angles? Thanks!

As a newby I would suggest get t know how the basics of the software work, then expand into the complex strictures you want when you know how to ask about them.
