It is probably opening off screen, try this keyboard sequence.
With focus on Model info (as in having clicked Window/Model info)
press alt and spacebar together, then tap m (where m is the default for move in your language), then tap an arrow key, then, without clicking, move the mouse around until the Model info appears, click to place.
