I just put my floating sketch up 8 license on my new mac air. When I go to fonts, the font I use the most,
Teckton Pro, is not there.
Could it be I am still in some sort of trial regular SU license?

I believe layout does not install specific fonts, what you see are the fonts installed in your system.
You could copy the desired font from your old computer into the new one:
