I’m adding my voice to the petition. Layout is definitely lagging behind Sketchup. It is a shame because it has so much potential.

As mentioned in the OP, here are a couple issues/comments raised in the past: (the second one is still not resolved)

Layout? What's new and improved for 2021?

Thanks for your reply Colin. We would love more consistency with the way the tools work between SU and LO. The one that frustrates me the most is the move tool, it would be great if it could work the same way as SU move tool. Pretty much all the tools from SU Drawing” toolbar should be ported over to LO “as is”. Anyway, we appreciate the progress but honestly, I feel a bit disappointed every time I try a new version of Layout.

Viewports messed up after update to 21.0.391

Hi, just updated to version 21.0.391. Opened the layout file i was working on, updated the viewport and everything get messed up. Just to make it clear, nothing was changed in the referenced SketchUp model Camera settings have changed the views are all over the place Standard view override does not work Vector setting makes the viewport vanish Hybrid setting has no lines (regardless of the style selected) PDF export fails Inferencing with SU model has disappeared (can’t find p…

I really hope we will see some improvement.
