What your screenshots show is very strange. I am not seeing this issue on my own files (note that this is on mac):
Particularly strange is that this same file does not show the issue in an older version of LayOut.

I agree. I tried to edit the line with no luck. I then opened the file in 2025 and its all fine.

Is ALL of the text in the label replaced with what looks to be only part of the scale auto-text? What if you rearrange things (e.g. “ : Scale” or “test test”). The other interesting thing to note is that the preview text shown in your first screenshot is also showing correctly (the text next to the blue drop-down triangle).

I didnt have time to screw with it the other day. I just tried a stand alone label as autotext for scale and that was fine. Going into the scrap book and editing the group for that label, deleting the scale label and placing a new label for scale fixes it but opening other drawings has the same problem so editing any drawing will include replacing the View Label for every view on every sheet! I cant tell you when that Scrap book Label was created 2016 or probably much earlier and it was taken from the samples and the font was changed. Its been copied version to version since its creation.
