The general thinking is that if SketchUp is trying to write a file while it is being synced, either SketchUp or iCloud doesn’t really have full access to the file. But, I’m skeptical about that, you would have thought the system should cope with such things.
ok, well in that case I’ll leave the files where they are just for the time-being… and I should really invest in an external drive to use for Time Machine backup, so I can go back in time. (unlike with iCloud which only keeps last saved version).
Thank you all for the help. This issue with my Layout file is fixed… but like I said earlier I fear I may be back soon, with issues opening up my SKP file. >>>File not found or invalid<<<
