The subject pretty much states what i’m wanting to do. I have a curved edge on a component which i want to make straight again because i need to push pull a section. Is there a way i can remove it without having to CTRL + Z back to the point i did it?

It’s always helpful if you can upload the SketchUp model, so people can understand what you want to do. Also, there’s a plug-in called Joint Push/Pull, which may allow you to push/pull without first straightening the curved edge.
